First off, HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL MY DEVART BUDDIES! <3 Christmas, Kwanza, Haunukkah, New Year's... Whatever you be celebratin', here's hoping that it is awesome.

I love the holidays. A month off from university is nice, and I enjoy the copious amounts of partying that occur in the last week or so of the vacation. Christmas was wonderful. Mother attempted to throw a party on Christmas Eve, but most people just stayed a little while. Lots of food got left on the table, after two days of frantic preparation. Sad... But more for me to eat, mwahaha! I got in touch with my inner Mini-Martha and had a lot of fun getting everything set up. Christmas morning was also good. Woke up at like 9am to the phone ringing, which was different than the usual tradition of getting dragged out of bed by my little brother (despite being 16 now, he still gets geekily/adorably excited for Christmas.) A few surprises under the tree, including a box of stuff from Hot Topic from my grandmother (Keroppi shirt! WOOO!)

Also had a little movie-fest with on Boxing Day. Lots of candy was eaten, Bladerunner and A Nightmare on Elm Street were enjoyed thoroughly and I was scared nearly crapless, as she made it her personal mission to scare me as much as possible with the Freddy Kruegerness.

My birthday was on the 29th (yesterday!). I turned 19, which is the Magic Age in Nova Scotia (ie: drinky drinky!) Spent some time dowtown in the snowstorm with my wonderful (cheers for her! She was ill-like and still spent the day listening to my wacky antics.) We went to a Mummers' Dance in the evening. I proceeded to get smashed, dance like a monkey and nearly fall asleep in the bathtub when I got home. No hangovers for me, but I did feel wicked fuzzy in the head when I woke up today...

And next up, New Year's Eve! Drunken fun to ensue? Hell yes. (I also owe a fancy mixed drink for losing our bet. But I lose in a good way! LOL.)
